A Few Rules for Dating, One and All

Most importantly you are not the only one, to be dating for the first time, or starting all over again after a messy break-up. Whatever your background, mature dating, gay personals, even lonely housewives there are basic building blocks to ensure your dating runs smoothly.

1. Don’t lose track of who you are – you have to have a strong sense of worth and self esteem to believe in yourself before embark on dating.  Make sure your ready to date, whatever kind of relationship you’re starting.

2. Make your dates fun – if they are you will feel good and they are the most memorable.  It doesn’t have to be expensive.  You are more likely to find out if you have things in common if you relax.  The success of the date can depend on how much fun you date has.

3. Communication is a vital ingredient – be clear about what you mean, good communication is a bridge that forms between partners.

4. Be a good negotiator – Communication alone isn’t enough to weather the storms that normal relationships blow up.  You need to be able to negotiate to find solutions.

5. Once you have a relationship nuture it – be loving, show kindness, be attentive, make sure your partner knows that they are appreciated.
